Last weekend, I had a big smoothie with some protein in it -- then wasn't hungry until late afternoon when I was suddenly ravenous! Often, some...I go with ... whatever my body wants. Often, some kind of brunchy food (eggs, etc.) - but sometimes, french fries (I usually concede to getting SOMETHING besides french fries!). And usually a sweet treat of some kind. Although the irony is...the longer the race, the less I care about post-race food...after the 50K, I only conceded to eating lunch because I knew it was good for me.
